Printers disconnected during peak..(self.starbucksbaristas)

It’s been a rough morning. We had all of our sticky printers disconnect mid peak. No dt stickers printing, no cafe stickers printing, and no mobile stickers printing. Also no tickets for mobile so I didn’t realize that it wasn’t just a drive thru issue till we had 15 mobile orders backed up and half already waiting in the lobby. We started to write on the cups instead but I’ve only been here a month and have no idea what’s written on them half the time 😂😂 send help.

As for mobile orders ask to turn them off for now. That way you’re not backed up with orders as much.
Within cup markings is there anything specific you don’t know ?

Should they also close the cafe and put up a sign asking mobile customers to go through DT?

Honestly yes I would just be DT only. No mobiles or cafe. It’ll release the stress significantly and may help get things out a little faster. Having 2 people on bar and all drinks going to the same place will make it easier on the DT bar partner.

They are not training new hires with the cup codes, I started in Jan so I’d probably literally write the drink longhand. Some drinks would not fit!
