Yeah so those numbers are quite literally the number you were hired as. I have old managers that were in the 100****. I’ve also met someone with 6 digits rather than 7. Gotta be a serious partner for that kind of tenure.

So I worked for Starbucks for about 4 years, then moved to a retail store and worked for a different company serving Starbucks. Then came back to Starbucks for another few years. I am now moving on as I have found a job within my degree field! And also, Ty! If you can remember 1,2,2-1,2,3 and 3,4,5-3,4,6(numbers for shots and syrups.; you’ll be just fine. Also, Kindness before ANYTHING. Forget rude customers but people do appreciate what we do. ✊🏽🤙🏽

Good luck! Stay on warming, it’s the best for beginners and made me feel a lot more confident than struggling in a more hands on position, and ask coworkers if you have questions. Much better than the book

You heard the siren call and we are so happy you’ve joined us 😂 congrats on your first day, it can be very overwhelming at first but just know you’ve got this and don’t be afraid to ask questions either. I’m a year and some months in and I still forgot things and how to make a drink, it’s normal so don’t be afraid to ask.

The customers can be.... Karen-y. Always be nice and replace their orders when there’s an issue but take their anger with a grain of salt, it’s nothing, and they were probably angry before they went to Starbucks. It has nothing to do with you! ❤️

Eh at my sbux in the back we don’t really wear masks and besides most people drink or eat in the back. I think if you’re working with someone with covid you’ll probably get it either way since on the floor we’re so close to each other anyway

Dont know why you’re being downvoted. I keep mine on. One of my coworkers nonchalantly told us one night that everyone in her family had covid and she was lucky she didn’t get it too because she never took a day off work and in fact picked up as many extra shifts as she could. Then another partner came in sick and kept taking off his mask to blow his nose and sneeze and i ended up with bronchitis from a cough I’ve had since the end of January. It’s shitty to be cavalier about other people’s safety because you can’t breathe through cloth an extra 10 minutes at work.
