I sold shoes before working here, and I sold shoes just for this! Great brands for arch support (which you likely need) are Chaco (they make boots/ shoes), brooks tennis shoes, Dansko clogs are lifechanging. Amazing insoles are super feet, you can choose the different colors for different arch types and foot shapes. Copper is usually a good bet. Make sure when getting insoles that they are hard, not soft. Soft insoles break down and don't do shit. Super feet have a great combination of memory foam on top of a little plate, and think with tough arch support take breaking in but will become so so comfy. Super feet have like a 30-day warranty too or smth. But yeah any of those are good! You can also look into compression socks, great for ankles!!!

I’ve really been struggling with this. I’ve added arch supports that helped some. The best help was compression socks.
I just ordered some Chelsea boots from Wolverine that came highly recommended by some bartender friends. I’m crossing my fingers they help. They’re also like half off right now.

I have used Dr. Scholl’s orthotics for heel pain successfully for years. I’d recommend using them in your non work life shoes as well. Also find a nice padded pair of slide sandals to wear around home as well.

they're very expensive, but i got danskos cause my back and heels were killing me. i can't recommend them more highly - just make super you get the newer dansko twos, they're more non slip, waterproof, and lighter than the traditional

I've got some killer bunions on my feet but since I wear Nurses clogs I literally have no pain from being on my feet.bi highly recommend them. Plus they're rubber which makes cleaning up any spills on them super easy.
