That is so bizarre... I don't think you need to work here to know that's not* right.
I've always done 1L hot water and let the tea bag steep for 5 mins. Remove and drain excess tea. Add a venti scoop of ice and fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water. It gets used soon after so no overnight shenanigans.

Hi! Also target based, I was always taught to brew the tea bags in 1 liter of hot water for five minutes then add a venti scoop of ice and then cold water to the 2 liter line. And yes the teas only last 12 hours, they should be made fresh every morning

To brew: one litre hot water, tea bag, steep five minutes, remove bag, one venti scoop of ice, fill with cold water to 2 litre line

To store: room temp on the tea shelf, good for 12 hours

*Cold brewing tea is a thing that can be done, but it is NOT how starbucks does it*

they did just change standards for brew time during spring launch - black and herbal teas are steeped 5 minutes, green and white teas are only 3. i think it applies to our regular iced teas, as well as custom iced tea lattes for those special customers.
