when regulars buy you lunch 🥺(self.starbucksbaristas)

My location is one where we have a lot of food places right near by and occasionally two different regulars of mine will pay for my food. They'll see me waiting on line and insist on it. One of them literally only ever gets a Trenta cup of ice from us but still shows his appreciation by doing this. Once i mentioned to one of them how the lines were too long so i was just going to get food from work so he went and bought me sushi from next door 🥺🥺🥺💛
Sometimes our doppio espresso and small water no ice regular will get us cookies from a bakery near his house on the holidays (he's the one who got the sushi)
It's nice to have those regulars where you make such an impact in their day that they'll do little things like that for you.

I am a doppio (Ristretto) with a water no ice. Offer that dude a Ristretto shot next time and see if he likes it.... I have to know if he’s my doppelgänger

for a while he would go between regular and long shots but he went back to regular shots and i think it's because the taste so ristretto might actually be right up his alley!! i'll recommend it to him tomorrow when i see him again!! 💛

One of my regulars at my original store got a double cup pike double shot 6 pumps classic with cream everyday and a dream bar for his dogs to share (wouldn't feed them to my dog but not judging) he's super cool but long story short when my daughter was born he was sneaky and ordered stuff off my registry when I added it all up it was over $500 sent to me so I use to comp his drinks all the time after thatv

My first store was like that at Christmas the regular would tip $50 or $100 for it to be split between us and one of them brought us all roses for Valentines Day. I was only there for a couple months before the shut the store down but every single regular made an effort to get to know me. Now my store has awful regulars, a year and a half in I still can't tell most of them apart because they're all rude old guy who get some variation of a drip coffee

Aw I hope one day that one of your old regulars walks in and recognizes you. It sucks when there's awful regulars.
