Chai tea latte recipe? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by awesomechief989
Ok at my store we could’ve sworn some of us read a weekly update about chai lattes no longer getting water, but now all of us make it that way. No other store I know of makes chai’s with water and our manger and DM both can’t agree on it because they both argue about the recipe (as friends lol). If anyone knows what I’m talking about could you help me find that update?

US and I have not seen any updates removing the water from hot chais. If you're corporate, search on partner hub or the iPad for the most recent recipe card; if you're target that information is on workbench (idk about any other licensed stores)

3/4/5 pumps chai, fill hot water to sirens eye, rest with steamed milk. Iced chai is 3/4/6 milk to the third line and fill the rest with ice. Personally I don’t get water in my chai though.

i’m in canada and hot chais definitely have water, always have and always will. because it is a concentrate.

pretty sure US chais have water too.

Iced chai gets no water. Hot chai gets water. "It's a tea, so you have to steep it" was how a trainer explained so I finally remembered. I've also heard the rumor of the mysterious weekly update, but it did not happen.

They get hot water but honestly I just put the tiniest amount in there because it tastes gross if you put too much
