After all these years (or our beans too) have you fell victim to the pitcher rinser?
My store has a habit of cranking the water up to get a good rinse, but if you accidentally bump it with anything you are instantly transported to a water park.
(Currently looking for another mask and non-abrasive wipe for my glasses.)

On of our pitcher rinsers was kinda broken once, in that the hose going into the base of the rinser would spontaneously disconnect from time to time. If you can imagine a hose suddenly let loose at full volume spraying all of the unsuspecting people in the vicinity you can imagine the chaos of this pitcher rinser. Once you got the water off and everything cleaned up, then you’d have to ram the hose back into place and hope it would stay. Took a couple months (it didn’t happen all that often) but when my manager was on bar and that sucker let loose, lo and behold a new rinser showed up a few days later! 😄

To be honest, I was going to say how many times, but got a lil' self conscious I'm the only dummy taking accidental showers mid-shift. 😅

I take several showers per shift

In the before times, there was a creepy regular who routinely stood WAY too close to the hand-off plane, like almost behind the damn counter.
Until he accidentally got sprayed. It was a true accident, but the gal who did it said she would have done it sooner if she knew it would get him to back off. Haha

When I use the water spigot at the bar for americanos instead of walking over to the Bunn. So, almost daily.

our pitcher rinsers kept falling off of the faucet so my SM got rid of them and now we just wash everything with the faucet. we haven’t had them for months now and it takes so long to rinse everything :(

That sounds rough, bud. As a SM, I'd replace the faucet...

yeah it ended up being the water pressure. we just got it fixed yesterday and we have pitcher rinsers again after not having them for 4 months!!
