Question about Berry Sangria Tea (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by thepurpleskittle
Hello! So back in 2015-2016ish the Berry Sangrja tea was my favorite. It hasn’t been back since then and I’m trying to figure out what syrups to mix to try and get that flavor again? It just isn’t the same without the mango syrup, which is the only thing I’m missing from the recipe. Does anyone remember this drink and have any suggestions?

There was a sangria syrup if I recall. It was around when I started so I forget

I don’t remember mango being in there. It was a special sangria syrup. You’ve probably already googled this but I found this on the bux website

“Passion Tango™ Tea – a blend of hibiscus, lemongrass and apple flavors – and Sangria syrup which contains a blend of peach, elderberry, blood orange and raspberry flavors. The tea is then hand-shaken with black berries, orange slices, apple juice, and ice for a refreshingly vibrant tea”

Ok so I’m not crazy. I thought there was a sangria syrup.

Definitely! You gave me a flashback. Half passion tea, half apple juice. Sangria syrup. Assorted fruit pieces. Ice. Shake

Thank you both! When it went away the barista told me to use mango syrup when I ordered so I assumed that was the original recipe! This was super helpful :)
