Does anyone know the rate at which vacation hours are accrued? I know sick hours are 1 hr for every 30 worked. I checked the hub and couldn’t find anything about it.(self.starbucksbaristas)

If you have been employed from 1-3 years, the rate is like 0.019 vacation hours for every 1 hour worked. 3-5: 0.04 vacation hours for every hour worked. 5+: something like 0.055 vacation hours for every hour worked.

Idk the exact formula but it’s a different max and accrual rate based upon service length. For example, 1 to 3 years can only bank 40 hours at some seconds (time) rate per hour, 3to 5 can bank up to 80 at a higher seconds per hour rate, and 5 + years can bank up to 120 hours. Sorry if this does make sense or has errors. I lost my glasses and waiting for my mom to bring my backup pair in the morning

Nah. It makes sense. I know what the hr caps are. Just not the rate at which they are accrued.

I believe it’s 1 hour after every 40 worked, and you don’t start accruing vacation until you’ve been here a year.

Thanks. I couldn’t find it anywhere. All I know is that I’m about to max out at vacation. So I should prolly use them soon.
