so yeah, when you request an availability and it gets approved, it starts at that 3 week mark. any shifts that you can’t do that you’ve been scheduled for before the availability comes into effect—at least in my experience—you have to find coverage for. i’m scheduled a friday morning that i specifically have off for my availability that i have to struggle to find coverage for. i’d bring it up especially since they scheduled you for that day in the week where your availability goes into effect, since, yknow, they’re well aware of it at that point.
idk if other people have had different experiences but i’ve always been told to find coverage when i can’t make a shift unless it’s like, when i’m sick or anything like that. it’s frustrating.

You should’ve had to write out you availability on a sheet for your sm before you started but idk if that has change... but I would make them change it and find that coverage. It’s not your fault they weren’t listening.
