After 7 1/2 hours on a register total for the day during an 8 hour shift I get slightly frustrated when the next shift comes in and I’m still there!! Am I wrong?

^^ this 100x. especially if you’re still a green bean, you most likely WILL get put on register/DTR 9/10 times. but if you ask, “hey when it’s not too busy can i get some bar time?” “hey do you think it would be possible for me to make a few drinks?” “hey can i slide to CS/warming/DTO?” it normally works. if you’re a tenured partner and know other positions, even more reason to expect that to work.

Nah, 7.5 hours in the same position is too long regardless of the position
