I’m a new hire (300 😬😬😬) and couldn’t start my first day of training yesterday because I have allergies and failed the Covid Coach check in.
I went and got a rapid test and note that I could come in today, but I feel like DEATH. My voice? Sounds like death. My cough is gross.
I really don’t want my trainer or SM to just give up on me, but I feel like trash and it’s obvious. What do I do?

if youre sick youre sick and they have to understand that .. I know we sent someone home just because their cough was so bad it was concerning to customers..

As for the covid coach, they ask if you’re experiencing any symptoms that are NEW or UNUSUAL. I’ve explained to my SM some mornings that I have a headache/ difficulty breathing due to my allergies and asthma but that this is every spring of my life and she approved me to work saying that is totally okay as long as it’s usual for me and just allergies

I'm probably telling you something you already know, but on the off chance this is helpful, my seasonal allergies used to be completely debilitating until I started using flonase every day. It's helped me immensely. And if you know anyone with a Costco membership, it's way cheaper there than at the normal pharmacy.

Can confirm pharmacy is open to non members! But thank you!! I’m currently relying on Claritin because my eyes are so red and low it looks suspect

Actually I’ve heard you don’t need a membership to use the pharmacy or even the food court :)

Cool! Flonase is over the counter now tho (used to be a prescription years ago but they changed it) so idk if that would count as pharmacy or not
