I’ve been a partner for two years & my current SM is a stickler for the dress code. I asked her if I’d be allowed to wear one on my apron, but she deflected by sending me the look book to which I told her I had already looked at. She then said she’d ask our DM, which all the more power to her, I’ll be putting lgbtq+ rep somewhere on my apron. We’ve got the pride shirts and the BLM shirts, but I’m wondering if any partners have been allowed to wear pride pins??

I have the one they sent out to stores, and one that says be gay do crimes on my apron. It really depends on your SM and DM, but if you can get the one that SB sent out that one is in dress code for sure.

technically the only pins we can wear are starbucks issued, but different managers feel differently!! it sounds like for you, yours is being stricter and will only let you wear starbucks ones (and i don’t think they have any right now). i’m sorry!
