Basically everyone of my coworkers now takes Thursdays off due to double star days. The amount of business we get is drastically increased and we see none of the profit, we don't even really get more tips on Thursdays and if we did it would just go into the pot, not directly to us.

If you're not going to pay us a living wage in general or pay us more for the promos you run, you could at least warn us before they occur. Starbucks needs to think about it's employees.

EDIT: I should make it clear this means almost every Thursday at my store is staffed by either a skeleton crew or new employees, because of this basically every Thursday is the most stressful shift of the week, they make people quit at my store. We bleed employees and double star days are one of the reasons why. Can't wait to bar for 6 hours tomorrow.
