My store only does pour overs of decaf because demand is so low. We sell maybe 3-5 cups of it all day.

We’re told we have to brew it when we sell maybe 3-5 cups in a week. Like a normal day we don’t even sell 1 cup of it.

I suppose. We only brew one or two batches of it a day, and sell MAYBE 1-2 cups. Today we didn’t sell a single cup or decaf. And I’m pretty sure we didn’t the past two days if I remember correctly. Honestly I doubt she even realizes we don’t sell it and also I highly doubt a shift has said anything to her about it. She’s only managed the store for less than a year and her store was a lot higher volume and probably had customers who ordered decaf more regularly.

You should be brewing the 1lb bags that are sent. They were discontinued retail but are sent for us to use since demand is low.

I don’t think we even carry those. We haven’t had decaf in over a year. We just do americanos.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s not on the app bc so many stores don’t carry it but we have a couple regulars who enter it in their name when they mobile order. If we drop decaf for the day, we’ll do pourovers or americanos instead.

There are only 2 people that come in (both regulars) who ask for decaf. I thought it was just my store but I guess not

That's all up to the person who does your orders, if you're having customers ask about it mention it to your manager. They may not be ordering it because they don't know it's being asked for. Or they're not ordering it because it's a high waste item for your store.

We just ring up a decaf pike and do a decaf americano.
