hello :) am a new partner, all ive done so far is the barista training on the computer at the store which i zoooooomed through so fast (thanks to whoever posted the cheatsheets that i used to study before i went) so now im just wondering how you order at the drive thru as a partner like do u say it when u order or do u say it at the window and i like to use the app to order ahead and i went to starbucks.com and added my partner number to my account there so like will it just show up and be automatic or do i have to say something at somepoint in the transaction and at which stage is it best to say it
hope someone answers bc i was told not to go to my second training shift bc i finished all the computer stuff in my first shift and so now i dont go back for like another week but i hav questionssss

Fellow green bean here! I've been working for about a month but as far as ordering goes here's what I've figured out.
You can't mobile order and get your markout for free partner beverages/food. You have to order at the store and then tell them once you get up to the window or when you're finished ordering inside. When you do tell them you want to use your partner numbers TECHNICALLY they're supposed to ask for an ID but often times they'll just check your name. Make sure to tell them if you want to use your markouts or just the discount.
Try not to get any bean markouts when they're busy. They'll do it but it's just another thing to do during peak that no one wants to do.
If you put your partner card on the app you should get the 3 stars/$1 (Mine says it gets 2, but I've checked my star history and I've gotten 3 when I've used it).

Absolutely, I was really nervous about asking any of my coworkers about using the markouts and things so I mostly learned through osmosis from working register when partners ordered as well as trial and error. Hope it helps! :)

Order like everybody else, then before you pay at the window say you have partner numbers and they will take care of it there. We notice a lot of time that when its mentioned at the ordering station, it's not a partner but someone who has someone's numbers. It's just sus is all.
I can't speak towards the app though as I don't have my numbers linked to my app account and have never nor plan on ever ordering mobile.
