As a barista I’ve noticed some complain an awful lot about iced drinks with no ice. While yes they aren’t the greatest to make I see no problem crafting a beverage for the customer anyway they like weather they just want more beverage, or extra milk.

I get people ordering and iced latte/coffee/tea/refresher with no ice, but ordering the iced shaken drinks with no ice or frappachinos with no ice...I have to think customers are just being dumb so I think it’s ok to complain about that.

its just really annoying with matcha or shaken espresso because they dont know what they really mean by no ice. how are you going to get more drink if you get the iced shaken espresso with no ice? how can you complain about how your drink looks when you takeout what takes up the most volume in the drink and still expect it to look the same? and sometimes its more time consuming this way

Shaken espresso makes no sense to make I agree. However, I learned that scooping matcha than adding a small amount of hot water dissolves the matcha making very yummy matcha lattes with no matcha powder stored at the bottom.

But should we really have to do that to accommodate what’s basically just a silly attempt to get a few more ounces of milk instead of ice? Idk i feel like people should just be a little less picky
