Hi there, if anyone has been a partner since before Covid I’m sure you were aware of the options we were given back in may to get “fired” and paid 60 hours, get put on leave until september 2020 or get your hours reduced. I chose getting “fired” and in the explanation for that option they said I would be qualified for unemployment. So I have been collecting until today under the option of “I have been laid off” which is 100% true. Recently anyone who has been claiming unemployment has to verify their eligibility and I was wondering if Starbucks in any way gives anything to its past partners to verify their eligibility. Because if I don’t do this the correct way I may have to pay back what I have been paid already which would stink.
