Well, I (278****) partner put in my notice today.

I love my coworkers and have made some really great friends with the company, but I'm a full time student and this job and my manager has made my mental health decline so much I cant even put it into words.

On multiple occasions my manager has told me I'm too anxious on the floor and I should get on medication for it.

On multiple occasions I've had customers tell me I'm terrible and I should be fired because I don't deserve a job.

On multiple occasions I've been followed to my car, hit on by customers, and catcalled.

I'm finally free, and I hope everyone continuing with this job finds peace.

stories like this should be taken to the media. people need to know we are being violated by customers!

206 here, I am so proud of you! I wish more people understood the harassment Starbucks employees endure. You’ll feel like a new person after that final shift

Customers are sort of out of our control but it's shocking to hear that your manager thought that was an appropriate thing to say to you. Sorry you had to go through that.
