Tell your SM especially if you rely on that income (rent, food, etc) snd they’ll reallocate some hours. I know my SM assumes anyone who lives at home with their family or is in college doesn’t “need” to work.

Our new SM has levied massive hour cuts across the board... I went from averaging 23 hours to 11. I'm looking to pick up shifts at other stores because I cannot financially handle such a dramatic decrease in my paycheck.

normally hours gets cut for everyone, across the board, just because we’re super busy during the holidays. but business slows down in january, so everyone goes down in hours. that big of a cut tho (i went from 38ish to 32ish, and others in my store fared the same, more or less) seems like there may be something going on. i’d just talk to your boss and let them know you’d like more hours!! if that doesn’t work you can let your coworkers know you’re willing to pick up some shifts.

I feel like I'm always in the opposite situation, interestingly. None of my managers have been able to keep partners, so we're all overworked. I would rather have more hours than not enough though, that sucks I'm sorry

(299 here) When I was hired my SM said my shifts would be at least 4 hours but the automated schedule system is really messing my store up. We're getting schedule weird hours and end up being understaffed and some of the days I'm scheduled for only 2.5 hours. My first week on the schedule I was scheduled outside of my availability for 3 days.
