i’m not 100% sure what you’re asking. so i’ll answer a few general things.
you can work early mornings no matter how much experience you have. however, in some places, minors can only work certain hours (where i live it’s between 7am-10pm.)
you would definitely be able to just work afternoons and weekends! starbucks hires a lot of students for their closing shifts.
it’s never just managers- usually there are only one or two supervisors in store at a time. the rest of the staff is just baristas, no matter how new.
some stores are doing block scheduling because of covid, meaning there is a morning crew that all clocks out at the same time and the night crew comes in at that time to take over.
most stores do not do this. morning shifts at my store range from 5:30-9:30, 5:30-12, 5:30-2, etc. people come in at all times and leave at all times- your shifts will most likely be different every day. some of my shifts this week are 10-6:30, 12-8:30, 11:15-7:45, 11-4, etc. they are generally pretty random seeming times within my availability.

I opened right off the bat. Kicked my ass for a month or so but got the hang of it fairly quick.

Hello, fellow hs student. Experience does not matter, look at your state’s labor laws by typing your state then child labor laws pdf. For example I’m in Pennsylvania, so I can open since my store opens at 5. If this were summer I can work 10 hours with a 30 min break at the end of the 5th hour of work and up to 44 hours per week and can volunteer for 4 more. I hope this helps!
