I’m not sure if it’s just my store, but we don’t have “caramel sauce”; we have caramel syrup, caramel drizzle, dark caramel sauce but not caramel sauce. But it’s an option on the mobile app, so is it actually a thing?

the caramel sauce actually refers to the caramel drizzle sauce! idk why it measures it in pumps but every1 at my store just does like 1 big squeeze = 1 pump haha

Same here! I do a sort of "1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi..." to time it for the number of pumps they want.

Yeah we asked my SM about it a couple weeks ago and she said 1 squeeze = 1 pump in the bottom of the cup 😅

I’ve used dark caramel just to get an “accurate” pump, however that is not true “caramel sauce”. Dark caramel is a separate option. It’s frustrating that Starbucks is a billion dollar corporation and this stupid app has never worked right.

Okay yeah no one in my store actually understands this but we always used dark caramel even though that’s probably not right lol

It refers to the dark caramel sauce.

There’s been arguments about that but when we got the ability to turn off caramel drizzle on the app, it’s labeled caramel sauce and also turns off caramel sauce.
It’s real dumb and confusing though, I don’t blame anyone for interpreting it to mean dark caramel sauce.

No, dark caramel sauce has its own button, caramel sauce refers to caramel drizzle being used as a sauce.
