When a customer asks you to label the lid on which drink is which... (self.starbucksbaristas)

There's a sticker. You may need to pull down the sleeve a little bit, but there are stickers. I hope you can read them and figure it out from there.

That is all. Have a good day.

This is one of my littlest pet peeves tbh.

“Which one is which?!?”

Well, there are stickers. How do you think we know which one to make? 🙄

Sometimes I feel bad because I know customers can’t read, lol

every time someone comes through and orders like 20 drinks, and wants a name on each so every one can tell which is their’s... the stickers are right there bro.

If you want names, they should order their own drinks inside. Our bosses don't give us enough time in drive to do almost anything except get people out as fast as possible, and maybe even chat with them if their drinks aren't going to be ready instantaneously.

i've had people come up to the register with a list and will be like "venti vanilla latte for bob, venti caramel macchiato for amy". and like... bro you get one name. when you get to the office, just "venti vanilla latte?" and bob will figure it out.

my god I know. I’ve had this asked on a day where I had been on window a little too long and just told the lady to swirl her cup around for me to read the sticker to which I just read it deadpan straight off the sticker on her cup in plain sight while she stared at me as if there was some other way to tell which drink it was

LOL I was having a bad day once and this lady asked if a grande pike was her grande coconut milk latte so I just turned the cup around, moved the sleeve so she could read the label, said “no.” and walked the fuck away.

OMG THANK YOU IM NOT ALONE. I get if we were marking cups it would be hard for customers but i tell them to pull down the sleeve LIKE A NORMAK HUMAN and they stare at me.

Mine is when someone gets to the window and they ordered a specific drink & they ask me if whatever it is is in their drink it’s like YESS if you ordered it that way then it should be there because I took the order correctly & my barista can read. I get it that sometimes drinks can get made wrong but if you asked for something simple then it’s in your stupid drink.
