I just smile say thank you and then throw that shit away. My store is directly across the street from this mega church & the people that come from there are awful! We had this lady come through asking one of my green beans if Starbucks issued out BLM pins & she told her no that people have lots of different pins and that it’s not Starbucks issued. This so called godly woman proceeded to tell her that she does not support that & that she will let the entire church know and they will no longer be coming here anymore, she then buys her 6 dollar drink and drives off. Let me tell you the word didn’t get out that they were no longer suppose to be coming because on Sunday’s we literally have two peaks before and after church services and it’s AWFUL!

I’ve enjoyed so much working in a business park/suburb metro area. Now there’s a church plant across the street from my store and these wacks are turning in far too regularly, and I know the day is coming.

I just remembered it was pre-covid and I often study at my Cafe. And a regular of mine is a sweet old man but a very religious one. So he seen me and asked for technical help on his phone so I proceeded to help. Then he went on to thank me and mention how willing to help strangers. Then it took a turn and stated " Do you know what happens when you die," I automatically just said idk cause I was so anxious at this point. Then he proceeds to say I will die and have maggots crawl over me, and God will decide my fate and so forth. Mind you I have religious trauma and didn't know what to do cause I was literally in a corner with the man. He's nice and all but really wanted to work in peace 😭
