Is that just 3 sweet cream, 3 lemonade, and 1 (?)
CalDoesMaths 18 points 2y ago
Orange is meant to be cold brew. Some stores with weird layouts use it because it’s faster to pour from a pitcher than to go to a tap. Also stores that just don’t have taps too haha
dumbflatwhite [OP] 8 points 2y ago
we have a tap but sometimes if we don’t have a clean yellow/grey lid we’ll use the orange one
PluralPaul 1 points 2y ago
Can confirm. Our machine used to break all the time until they gave us our current one, so we'd end up pre-mixing cold brew in pitchers to get by. Now we use the orange lids mainly for sweet cream so that we can save the grey (since they're unlabeled) for egg nog or other mixes.

pumpkin sauce obviously

We use those for tea/refresher water pitchers! Much easier than going to the faucet every time
arokh123 2 points 2y ago
We have an entire urn for each water and iced coffee.

They look so clean! Our Hobart has been broken for two weeks now, I miss it 😥
gavinatoristhatyou 3 points 2y ago
oh god i’m so sorry ours was broken for 2 days and dishes were so painful
cherrythot 7 points 2y ago
I fill the Hobart twice over with pitchers after peak 🥴
preston136 6 points 2y ago
Wait what you guys get dish washers?
dumbflatwhite [OP] 12 points 2y ago
it’s a hobart so it doesnt actually *wash* dishes. my understanding is that it’s a steam sanitizer.
DraconidZinnia 7 points 2y ago
Yes !!! It is!!! Except people at my store seem to think it's a dishwasher !!!! 🙃!!!!!
Coffee-Bae 5 points 2y ago
A lot of people think that because it gets a detergent, but it's a SANITINZING detergent. But we all know Baristas don't read labels 😌
El_Gabe69-420 2 points 2y ago
Yes exactly! When I use it it's for sanitizing plastics and rubbers, since they don't pose a burning threat like metals, which I toss in the sanitizer bin 😁

So organized 😭🤤

Feel it completely. Our store has been busier than ever lately and we’ve been running out of absolutely everything from lids and cups to every single fruit inclusion besides kiwi, almost all the refresher bases, vanilla, obviously the new shaken espresso drinks ingredients, just everything. We’ve all been getting more hours, though! And great tips! So that’s awesome.

This is so clean and so satisfying

Yo, Watch out those can crack in the Hobart.
dumbflatwhite [OP] 6 points 2y ago
welp,,,,, that’ll be for night shift to handle😅no but really i hope i didn’t ruin half our pitchers,,
juiceyluicy 7 points 2y ago
My SM tells us to Hobart anything and if it breaks it can just be replaced, I wouldn’t worry that much. (All clear plastic can crack but it’s replaceable)
89ZERO 7 points 2y ago
Don’t worry too hard.

It’s not 100%, but anything with that kind of plastic has the chance.

The 3.8 liter pitchers and tea pitchers are made of sterner stuff- as a point of reference.

Something else to handwash exclusively is plastic shakers.

It’s been a point of contention for our store manager.
