Listen to the people that have worked there forever. They know the secrets.
Also, pay attention to the register. It has al of the answers to what’s in the drink.

I usually tell them the beginning is the worst part. Because starting at sbux can be so discouraging.

Don't quit. Yeah, there are a lot of negative things that come with this job - but there can also be a lot of positives. I'm a big advocate of finding the benefits of whatever situation you're in. You're going to gain new skills, meet a lot of new people (good and bad) - that'll hopefully grow your patience, awareness, and experience - and make some new coworker friends (hopefully). Now, I will admit that I am newer and haven't been a barista for long but I have worked other service industry jobs and dealt with a lot of crappy jobs/people. Just don't let it overwhelm you - life's too short for that. Just smile, breathe, and keep going. Make sure you have healthy ways of letting off steam. Enjoy your job!

if you don’t know what’s in a drink and don’t wanna ask/can’t ask go check the register
