I can't tell if your talking to me or your friend / partner / etc. and it's annoying me, heavily. Like I'm sorry BOSS, IF I'M NOT "CONNECTING" WITH THE CUSTOMER CAUSE THEY STILL TALKING ON THE PHONE WHILE YOU SEE I AM ASKING FOR THEIR NAME 7 TIMES AND THUS I RING IT UP WITH NO NAME!
ALSO, if you ask for milk and when I say "Is 2% OK?" and you say "Yes" Don't get upset at me because you wanted half & half.
Just hold off on the convo until I ring you up.

this is one of my biggest pet peeves, it's always so rude. especially when they're standing in line while on the phone and it's they're turn to order and they look at your like you're the one being rude for asking how you can help them

that and when they finished there order they last minute order for their friend on the phone. Thus, they be staring at the menu & food case while you side eyeing the long line and annoyed customers cause of this 1 person who probably should had done this already! -\_-

I got a stern talking to and a threat of a writeup recently because I asked a customer to end his call or go to the back of the 6 person line, because he wasn't answering the green bean after she asked him what size drinks he wanted three times. Really feels great to know management has my back with customers being inconsiderate. :P

LOL I love that. If he's going to behave like a kid in elementary school that can't listen he can get treated like one. "I'm sorry, please go to the back so that we try that again."
Also whenever I'm on window, or have a headset on, and they don't listen I always want to tell them to "turn on their listening ears" before trying to communicate with us. Like, this would go but do much smoother if they could just freaking listen to what we're saying.

Yesterday I had a woman come in and stand behind a guy who was just waiting for his mobile order. I was like, “Hi welcome in! He’s actually waiting for a mobile order so you can come on up!” She ignored me and just stood behind him like he was in line, so I came closer behind the registers and repeated myself.
Then she said something I didn’t hear so I turned my head and pulled the headset off my other side- I am hard of hearing anyway so sometimes things get lost. Well, I guess she had EarPods in that I couldn’t see, because she stormed up to me and slammed her purse on the counter and says “Well I was TRYING to finish my conversation but since that’s apparently IMPOSSIBLE-“ and then she basically yells her order at me. I was like, “I didn’t realize you were on the phone ma’am.” And she goes “I’m sure you didn’t,” super sarcastic, and tells me just how much I “ticked her off.”
She was so rude I had to walk to the back so she couldn’t see me tear up. My last day’s on Saturday and half of the reason I’m quitting is because of people like her. Entitled rude selfish idiots. Ma’am YOU came to ME.

saaaame! it literally takes us a minute or two at most (at my place of work) to get you in and out, yet you don’t have enough respect for us to put your phone down while i serve you.
