3 weeks ago was my last shift; my thoughts after reflecting on time with Starbucks(self.starbucksbaristas)

Honestly mobile ordering has ruined working at Starbucks. Not only are we insanely busy with 12 drink orders but then people are making their drinks like a novel to read with all their customizations. Starbucks is creating customers that are insanely demanding and impatient.

Agree but our uber eats orders at least have to wait until there is a driver to pick it up so we have some time to finish it. Our store also has an issue with people mobile ordering and then 1 minute later coming in for their order. They don't even bother to look at the estimated time. It's annoying.

Sorry I might have been misleading.. We have a tablet that tells us if there is a driver and if they're on their way. So we try to time manage but using that as a guide.

Amen. For that last line. Good luck to you as you leave this world of continuous rushing behind.

Everything you said is how a lot of us feel. And in regards to your upper management being out of touch with reality, that's the upper upper management. It's a company wide issue and the reason they are losing many great baristas and shifts. Farewell and good luck on your next endeavor!
