I believe you can only do it from the BOH computer

Yep. Either report to IRS during tax season, or report on MPI (from store computer)

News to me. No one else has said that. You’ll have to explain in further detail.

non-starbucks devices are view only. to make any changes you have to use the computer in your store. maybe a store chrome book would work too?

If you make more than $20 a month in tips you must declare them YOURSELF to the IRS. Starbucks will not do that for you.
I can’t remember how if they are still imputing tips on your paycheck or not. If they are, you only have to declare anything more than the imputed amount. For example: Last week you worked 8 hours. Starbucks taxed you for tips they assume you got at $.50 an hour. So $4 was added to your income *for tax purposes (not actually added because you got it in cash)*.
But you earned $26 in tips. It’s over $20, but you’ve already paid tax on $4 of it, so you declare $22 as income to the IRS.
Hope this helps.

This is how it used to be, yes. But now that ".50 rate" has become "the digital tips rate specific to that store that week".

Yes but the question is: is there a way to declare it at the store or just using the standard IRS form?
