My store is one of the slowest in our district. We aren’t in a busy area, but we are close to the beach (St Pete, FL). It’s felt like we’re having 3 peaks a day now, with more in the evening. At night we have a 4 person floor max. Today we hit 27 at 2 in the afternoon (which isn’t a lot since they hit around 47 in the morning, but we only had a 4 person floor) and were swamped all day. I saw everything today from 9 drink orders to absurd mobiles to Karen’s. There was not a single break I sh*t you not. To cap it all off, 30 minutes before close, we got hit with an 11 item mobile as well as a few larger dt orders. By this time we were down to our 3 person closing staff and my ssv was doing his night stuff. So for half an hour I ran dt and bar while having to put together this ridiculous mobile. After we closed we stayed an hour late.. I get to do this all over again tomorrow. This may seem like it’s all over the place and very random, but I needed a spill to people who can relate and who can kinda understand where I’m coming from. Also customers have wayyyyy too much freedom ordering on the app and on Uber eats. That’s all, goodnight from your resident 286 ✌🏼
