I wanted to know the real calories in drinks so I made a little app (fairly green barista).(lattecalories.com)

This year has been incredibly hard for me. I am going through a ton on the personal side and trying to keep busy to keep my mind off things that I cannot control. This is a little project I started to teach myself Node, Vue, and a few other newer technologies. Being an old PVP dev my resume needs a bit of an update, so I figured I would go with something that I enjoy, coffee and Starbucks.

Right now it can calculate lattes with all the milks, and one of any syrup. This coming week I will be adding the ability to do, refreshers, teas, multiple syrups and toppings. Let me know if there is something you think would be cool and if I can I will add it.

Caffeine contents would be cool to include!

It is on my list. Will probably get it added with espresso types tomorrow. Today was toppings.

Once it has more functionality it looks like it'd be a great resource! Edit: it was accidentally a question instead of exclamation. I'm very proud of OP

Thanks! My goal is to add a new feature each day. I will probably post it here again in a week or so when it can handle just about anything you throw at it.

Have fun trying to calculate frap base! I would always have sad espresso and almond milk as the base and blend it to oblivion to slash the calories

What a great idea! I really hope customers find it, and are horrified by their drinks... Lol

I might’ve just missed it, but chai doesn’t seem to be listed as a flavor/syrup, so you might want to add that if you can?

Good catch! I’ll look for it. I also need to add powders.

As someone who's lost 80 pounds on a calorie deficit diet this past year and has gruelingly gave up everything I've ever wanted to drink at work... thank you. This might save me.
P.S Is it really only 9 calories for a pump of the new brown sugar syrup?
imathrowayslc [OP]2 points2y ago
I’m still making sure on some of these but according to my research yes. The brown sugar syrup is a cold bar pump so half the volume of a regular syrup.
