Nails at work (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by barista19471057
Alright everyone, my graduation is coming up in a month. I don't want to get nails just to immediately remove them. Would it be okay for me to wear them a week or two if I wore gloves constantly every shift? I don't even mind getting the gloves myself. Just wondered if y'all would have an answer for me

best thing i can suggest is getting press on at target. sounds bad BUT HEAR ME OUT! the kiss brand has definitely stepped up their game and they look really cute. you get cute nails + save money + don't go through the hassle of ripping off acrylics!

This is true! Total life saver for my 21st bday. Got to wear cute, long nails for my bday dinner for less than half of what you would pay at the salon, AND I still got to go to work the next day after I took them off. And they’re reusable!

Not in my store. My SM keeps a bottle of nail remover and gives anyone who comes in with nails the option of going home or taking them off.

They won’t let you unless your SM is real cool. Maybe just take some time off to celebrate your achievement and have nails?

for special occasions where i’ll be off for at least two days i get trés she instant acrylics!! they’re the best press on nails imo, people always think they are real acrylics. i just pluck them off with acetone and a metro card before i come into work.
