the traffic hazards that drive thru lines create (self.starbucksbaristas)

Aside from the lines backing into traffic, they tend to snake around the shopping centers and block the median area that cars and people use to enter. God forbid an emergency vehicle needs to enter- I guess the dying person can just wait. I've been complaining via web chat and I got through to a manager. It's almost impossible to enter some of these shopping centers because the sbux line in my shitty city blocks the driveway, backs up the right turn lane for a half mile, and then causes accidents when people realize they are in a starbucks line and won't be able to make a right turn so they jet out of the line without looking before changing lanes, so the lane next to that is a danger as well.

sbux needs to be audited by the city!

It's a big problem in some areas and i believe its up to the city to police it. In my city, sbux has to bend over backwards to get the drive thrus now and probably pay for the special construction on the street that blocks the line from other lanes and blocks people trying to turn left into it.

A special store they opened not too long ago was being built as a drive thru, then the city was like "lol nope" so it pushed the open date by probably 6 months. It's a "drive-up". Since there's a lot of parking, cars can park in the front and have someone that's the "drive thru" person take orders and being the drinks out. They even have a drive-thru window installed. Cute little conceptual store. I dont take that street anymore since i moved out of the area but it would've DESTROYED traffic's and made a super dangerous corner way worse
