Coffee Academy (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by fuzzypeaches-0
I did coffee academy online at home (100, 200, & 300) because I really wanted to be a coffee master before they discontinued the program 🥲 (I'm a canadian partner if that matters!) I did quite a bit when our store was closed for covid & I didn't get to complete all the activities properly so I was thinking of doing it again in store but I was hoping to maybe lead someone else through doing it instead of just re-doing it on my own because I have quite a bit of coffee knowledge. I was wondering if anyone has done coffee academy in stores with peers or a group or what that experience looked like for you! hoping to present an idea to my SM soon:)

How do you do it?? Do you just look it up online? I’ve always wanted to become a coffee master but I heard you can still do the program just not get the black apron.

yes! just look up starbucks global coffee academy, all the courses are free and you just sign up with your email! some districts still might give you the black apron (my dm is considering it) if you complete all the courses and do a presentation and tasting of sorts similar to coffee masters 😇

Thank you ! Do you know how long does it take to complete all of the programs ?

The reading portion is about an hour ish for each course and then there's a bunch of activities and coffee tastings throughout each course that take a bit longer!
