Feeling Burnt Out and Guilty (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by gjroberts93
My store has been getting super busy lately and I have two jobs. My other job is my career job, Starbucks has just sort of kept me afloat in slow times. The stress of both with my store suddenly being 3x busier with a shit ton of useless new partners is killing me. I’ve called out twice this month and I hate it.

I feel like I’m losing all of my reliability.

But I also kinda feel like I’m dying.

Why not cut back on the bux? Put the energy into your main job and if you need more funds try a different side hustle like Uber eats or thrifting that’s a lot less stressful!

I understand that feeling. I had to take a week off bc a bunch of stores in my area closed so our store had 3 stores worth of customers coming in. You shouldn’t feel guilty since we’re literally working our asses off in the middle of a pandemic. It’s natural to feel stressed.

I also work two jobs with Starbucks being my side hustle. Maybe take some time off from Starbucks since it's your second job? I took a couple days off for one weekend and let me tell you, I came back refreshed as heck. You just need at least a couple of days off of ideally both jobs to be able to unwind and recuperate.
