Tinnitus and Hearing Loss (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey guys. I have worked a total of almost 2 years as a barista which has damaged my hearing permanently and caused the onset of severe tinnitus. Started 1.5 years in my teens and then another 0.5 a year between age 20-21. I have wondered how many of you suffer from hearing loss and tinnitus (that you are aware of ofc- it might be undetected).
If you do, how many years you worked untill the onset of these problems, and have you quit the job after the onset or have continued working in this hearing destroying sound levels that us baristas are/were exposed to.

I’ve been with Starbucks for 6 months now and I constantly have tinnitus.

Do you mean you always had tinnitus or you have it since working in Starbucks? do you have measured hearing loss if you checked or feel your hearing worsened? much thanks.
