I really want to get the new Indigenous Partner Network shirt to promote the network and show my support - but I’m white and worried it would be inappropriate for me to. Any support? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I messaged a family friend of mine who is involved with his tribe and he supported it, but I’m still anxious and reaching out for advice from any Indigenous partners. Thank you!!!

As an indigenous partner (from Oklahoma where the shirts are made!) I encourage you :) it’s nothing offensive at all and it’s great that Starbucks is helping support partners of all backgrounds! <3

I only know it because I recently ordered off of Coffeegear for the first time and in the description it says they’re made here! My package got here today and they’re so cute I love them

Honestly same! My dream career is to work with Indigenous communities in terms of public health, and I am a very big advocate for Indigenous rights as a white woman. When I saw the Indigenous Partner Network shirt I instantly got excited but am so worried someone will get the wrong impression.

The fact that you’re white is even more reason to support the minority Networks do it !
