I work at a small cafe store that’s mostly mobile. Tomorrow is my first shift opening as an SSV since being back from disability. I’ve always been more of a closer to begin with, except when I worked at a drive thru years ago. It’s a gossip heavy store that’s quick to blame the shift so I’m especially nervous. Also my back isn’t 100% yet.
I open with one barista, next one is in at six, and two more at 8 with the opening barista leaving at nine. Pastry case is done at night so I won’t have to do it. Any advice would be really helpful. I know my baristas don’t like being stuck in one spot for too long.
Please give me some tips and advice!!!
