Yes catastrophe pay does count
However... do you mean you are missing out on hours because of adjusted store hours or you are isolating because of a covid exposure at work. If it’s the former, I don’t think you get catastrophe pay for missed hours. I remember getting paid for missed hours during the beginning of the pandemic but I don’t think that is the case anymore. The latter does get catastrophe pay.

I was thinking about this today also, we may well live in the same area. The most specific statement I can find on the hub at home is "BEN hours includes any paid time off (vacation, sick, etc.)" That seems to me to indicate that catastrophe pay does count, because I think it falls under the umbrella of paid time off.
If it feels super anxiety inducing not to know with 100% clarity, it says to call the Sbux benefit center at 877-SBUXBEN with questions.
ETA: the idea that catastrophe pay counts towards BEN hours jives with how they did the original covid lockdown catastrophe pay situation also.
