it’s gonna be a no from me✨

we’re in a pandemic, customers can’t comprehend the question “hot or iced” let alone this bullshit, and if starbucks has this new reusable cup program and doesn’t allow customers to bring their own cups in then that’s going to be a whole new headache for baristas

So Germany has what I call the Pfand program (not sure what it’s actually called) where they’ve been doing this with water bottles for years. Personally I like it because it’s the incentive that more people need to recycle. I also like that there’s an extra 10 stars involved in doing this.

Also, it might not be just Germany doing this, but Germany is the only place in Europe where I have lived so 🤷‍♀️

it was inevitable. and of course the Bux had to lead the way. i bet it will go over as well as the “strawless” lids .. “can i have a straw please”. 🙄 i just hand out straws with every drink anyway now

i don’t get why this is better than bringing in their own reusable cups?? because those are also sanitized before use, what would the benefit of this be over just restarting that program?
