Why don't we ring up remakes? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Because it isn’t worth the hassle, most of the remakes we do are because one of the baristas screwed up while making it (at least at our store). Of course sometimes people are trying to cheat the system but they are few in number and if it’s consistently a regular that should be reported to your manager. My store doesn’t have an issue with other people taking other people’s drinks because we keep them behind the counter and people have to give us their name. Overall it doesn’t make sense to charge people for remakes when in comparison to the amount of drinks we do make right, it’s minuscule

I think OP meant in terms of labour and inventory...so the time and ingredients that went into remaking the drink would be accounted for in terms of ordering new stock and staffing. I don't think they mean charging for remakes

We’re supposed to ring it in as “right now recovery” so it is accounted for in labor.
