My store manager is late or absent constantly and I'd like to anonymously report it.(self.starbucksbaristas)

As the title says, this has been a situation for months now and it's taking a huge toll on our store. I know that they would retaliate if I went to my DM so I'd like to report them in an anonymous way. I thought about registering a random email address and messaging my DM that way. Anyone have any other ideas?
It sucks because our manager is the worst thing about this store. We have wonderful partners and they don't deserve to put up with this.

What I can tell you from experience, is that calling PCC anonymously is a straight up lie. I went through something very similar, and my DM was friends with my manager at the time so he was no help. I called PCC and was clear I wanted to be anonymous and they assured me it was. The next week my DM shows up unannounced (while my manager was on another vacation), with MY FULL CONVERSATION TRANSCRIPT. PCC thought the best course of action on a complaint about my manager and dm's willingness to ignore the problem was to just send the transcript to him. Guess what? The problem didn't resolve itself, and that DM still hates me several transfers and years later. From what I hear that manager is pulling the same shit at his new store as well. Can't hold on to a worthwhile shift supervisor to save his life.

Yeah, I will never trust pcc to keep a conversation anonymous. Nor would I even trust a direct conversation with my DM not to bite me in the ass. I'm really leaning towards the anonymous email idea but I feel like even that is going to lead to a witch hunt. I'm over it though. If any barista here had as many attendance issues as my manager, they would have been fired months ago.

Actually fun story against an email, we had a customer send an email to corporate about the behavior of a few of our partners, and when it trickled down to the store, the named partners refused to believe it was a customer and were convinced it was another partner at the store. They were still trying to hunt down whoever they could until they left the company. Long story short, an email, anonymous or not, will still probably bite you in the ass.

You could try your RD, or another store manager if you know any? There's also going higher up, or a customer review saying you haven't seen the manager in such a long time, you hope everything is ok. That's a hard one.

I'd stay quiet until you can transfer or leave the company, no good will come from sending an anonymous email. If your SM can't retaliate against one person, they'll retaliate against the whole store and partner resources will just kick the email down to the DM.
Don't even talk about it with other store partners, because if someone else raises the issue, they will separate all of you to interrogate like criminals, and if enough store partners say "well 24790-Z seems to talk a lot about SM's absence," they'll retaliate.

If you are concerned about the environment your partners are working in & you plan to leave at some point in the future, you can keep personal record of events now to send in all together later after you leave the company?

Any complaints against your SM will ALWAYS lead to your DM. PCC will NOT keep it anonymous. You can report to the ethics line and THEY will keep it anonymous but always remember: all roads lead to the DM whenever it comes to your SM.

Ethics and compliance can be anonymous. PCC asks for your partner numbers so it would not necessarily be anonymous

I know that in Canada we have an ethics and compliance hotline, that would be my first bet.
Also, for what it's worth, at least some PCC complaints are kept anonymous if requested. I had a partner anonymously complain about a wage issue ( completely valid, just a misunderstanding) and neither the DM or partner resources manager knew who it was. They were trying really hard to reach out to potential partners and ensure the situation was explained to them correctly.
The idea that PCC would not keep a complaint anonymous is awful, I'm sorry for any partner who feels that they have nowhere safe to share things.
I hope this SM sees consequences for not doing their job properly. I'm embarrassed if I'm not at least 10 minutes early to any shift, let alone that nonsense. Stay strong!
