I am so fucking sick and tired of people who don’t wear their masks in the drive through. ESPECIALLY the entitled nurses. If you’re working in a god damn hospital where there are COVID patients you should be wearing a fucking mask!!!! YOU’RE AT THE WINDOW FOR 2 MINUTES TOPS JUST PUT THE DAMN THING ON!!!! I don’t care if YOU think it’s less than 6 feet, it is so disrespectful to the person at window. And the worst part is that we can’t tell them to wear one. It feels like I am the only one at my store who is incredibly bothered by this to the point where they won’t even put me on window because I will have a panic attack. We’re still in a pandemic and if I still don’t leave my house except to go to work and occasionally get groceries, why the fuck do all these people feel comfortable coming here EVERY DAY.

I'd say 85% of the people in DT do not wear a mask, I have always worn a mask when I went to a DT since this started cuz I know how close people are to us at the window and all it takes is one sneeze or cough in our faces.... 🙄

i hate starbucks allowing it too. they say that they did research and that the HVAC system pushes air out the window and doesn’t allow particles to come in, but whole ass bees fly through the window so i’m not so sure how much it actually protects us from droplets.

I don't work at a dt location, and I rarely go anywhere besides my work, but one time I went throught the drivethru to pick up a mobile and I wasn't thinking about my mask because it was so quick. But last time I went, I saw the mobile order screen has a prompt for you to wear your mask when picking up, even through drive through so I put on my mask no questions asked.
I think for a lot of people, it's just not really a thought. You're in your own car, and you're at the window for just a brief moment. That being said, I can absolutely understand wanting people to wear masks, because it's scary to see hundreds of people a day in your face without a mask.

the worst for me has to be the people who have their mask on around their neck and are too stupid to even pull it up around their face? why even have it on around your neck if you won’t pull it up to interact with people???

As much as I'd appreciate people in DT wearing their mask, I rather them not wear it than the people who come inside and gripe about having to wear one.

We literally used to tell people they could go through drive to pick up if they refused a mask. Now we just don’t even waste the energy to fight people. Most people wear them inside, but we haven’t enforced it in a couple of months. They’ve won. 😑

they’re probably tired from wearing it all the time at their work bc they’re forced to and they see being in their car as like a free space from that. so i kinda get it but it’s still not rlly acceptable. however, i’m surprised you guys even see people wear masks. now that i think abt i’ve only been working at my store for like a month and have only seen people wearing masks who come in. nearly every single person who comes thru the drive thru doesn’t wear one 😭
