The amount of people who treat Starbucks like we’re called “Build a drink workshop Diner” is crazy. So many people order 14 item orders all the time. 4 different flavor fraps, 6 different warmed up food items and another 4 different iced/hot drinks all with specific customizable options. We have multiple order tickets flying in from mobile and drive thru. It’s even worse in the afternoon when we only have like 4-5 people on. Also is getting macchiato upside down just a latte at that point?

I feel you.

We get orders all the time with like a dozen modifiers, and when drinks like this are part of an order with seven other items, no wonder DT times suffer.

re: what you were saying about mobile orders - I just commented about this earlier today. Mobile orders don’t come in at a pace like regular customers in cafe or DT; they can and do come in by the dozens, on top of the cafe and DT orders.

As far as the caramel macchiato being upside down, yes, it’s essentially a vanilla latte with caramel drizzle and one less pump of syrup.
