Under my provinces law it's not illegal as we have another staff from the store that's going to pretend to know starbucks while I'm on break.

Fun fact about Tarbux: if its discovered that someone who hasn’t been signed off on barista basics is alone (as they can’t guarantee to make drinks to standard, food safety, etc.), the store itself can be fined! If memory serves, handbook says $300 for retraining plus $50 for every subsequent day?

Please explain to me how this works. Because as far as I know, deli and Starbucks is nothing alike. If you're not trained for Starbucks, you really can't do the job.

I feel this omg, the Tarbucks i work at is severely understaffed and they keep just pulling in target staff to work there , like half us work at target and the kiosk it's just sad. I'm planning on leaving soon as well but I don't even know what they'll do further on. It's a train wreck

Yeah we've been pretty lucky we've had a stable few employees that are all hungry for shifts and we are only open 12 hours a day and not busy so 2 staff does it.

We aren't that busy and it's a family run grocery store chain with about 30 stores and they treat staff amazingly uve never heard a single person say a bad thing about high level management practices.

Rest of the staff were exposed to covid and potentially could have it and we are treated really well so they send u home for 2 weeks with pay if u come into contact anywhere even if it's not from work. Also we only have 5 staff as someone quit last week and we small small
