(Former barista here) to be fair, every time I order iced peach free tea without lemonade on mobile order I end up getting lemonade. So now I have to order in store and watch them make it. 9/10 they will still add lemonade and I’ll have to ask to remake it.

most of my frustration stems from people who just want to bitch at a barista rather than actually get the issue with their drink corrected. i don’t have a problem remaking drinks if we made it wrong or the customer can actually tell me what’s wrong with it. ive definitely made mistakes taking someone’s order/making a drink and ill be the first to admit it! but there are people who throw whole temper tantrums bc “my drink isn’t right” but wont do anything to help me fix the problem.

Green bean here and it's my 3rd week; I've spent now my 5th day at the register and I literally repeat the order (yelling) through the plexiglas loud and clear and they say "yes yes yes", and confirm it IS indeed what they want. Then when the drink comes out, they come back and "all of a sudden, the drink is wrong".
Customer is always right but this shit rubs me the wrong way. It happened like 2 out of 5 times. e.g. I ask them iced or hot, them: NOT ICED, ok. Then later: "tHe dRiNk isNt iCeD"
*rolls eyes*
I am pretty sure they do not suffer from Alzheimer's.

at drive thru we are supposed to ask “does everything look correct on the screen” or read the order back to them to MAKE SURE their order is right (bc remaking drinks messes with our drive thru times) and they STILL do it. it’s a losing battle with those customers and they’re honestly not worth the energy. just let your ssv/sm deal with them if they become a consistent problem.
