Matcha Lemonade: Water or No Water? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was trained to make it with lemonade to the lemonade line and appropriate scoops of matcha, ice, and shake. But I’ve seen posts on Reddit and the barista-only groups on Facebook where it’s cut with water. Asked my SM and two SSVs and all three said no water- no customers have complained about the lack of water so (probably because all customers at my store drink are sugarbombs 🙄)? I haven’t been able to find the recipe card, either.

Check the iPad! There are recipe cards on there! I believe it is standard to cut with water but I’d double check.

According to the app it should be made with water! I use the app when I can’t find recipe cards a lot or when I’m at home lol

It’s concerning that your own management doesn’t know proper recipe standards.
Cut with water.
However, before you go doing it on your own, bring it up to your SM and have them look at the recipe card themself.
Although it’s important to follow standards, it’s slightly more important to be consistent within your store.

I just found out this week it's supposed to be half lemonade half water. Open the Store Resources app on your store iPad and search for matcha lemonade to get the drink card.
I told my PM shift counterpart about it today and her response was "oh lord no. I am NOT about that." She gets one almost every day. So, you know, apparently no one knows this.
