So i've been working at a starbucks kiosk for Kroger and I can't find why the store takes away some of our tips. I think they take 10% off.
Tbh I kinda find this unfair... why y'all think they do that? and is it fair or is there a way to fight the system lol

Are you getting taxed on top of the 10% or is the 10% the tax taken out of the income?

Also could be that tips are getting counted via coinstar or something. They take 10% for sorting coins into bills.

i worked for a kroger store for 2 years (i was the lead) and i don’t remember them taking money out... the only time i would think they would is for tax purposes.
