Question: Will starbucks sell you Syrup&Creme Base?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by MatchaMonstera
I figured I'd ask the people who know best!
I've heard that starbucks will sell you their syrups if you ask? Is that still true? (I'm interested in classic syrup) Also!! Will they sell their Creme Base? (Trying to make Green tea Frap at home) 😊 Thanks in advance guys!

You can purchase core syrups like vanilla (I think classic too but I'm not 100%), but you can't buy any other beverage ingredients such as creme base, white mocha, etc.

We can only sell syrups if we have enough in stock otherwise we can’t.

No. We will NOT sell base. certain syrups and if we have enough yes but never base

Depending where you are, you can buy non-seasonal syrups If the store has enough in stock. You won't be able to buy the creme base but you could probably make it yourself. From what I can tell it's just a simple sugar syrup with an emulsifier like xantham gum or lecithin in it.

Thank you! I will probably try to find the classic syrup at a store. Then do a few trial and error tests to find a way to make a decent base myself! 😊
