Uh yeah so the title.

POS system went down. Again. For the second time this week. Likes to play a game called “Gonna shut down and not come back on” So we are left with only front tills to use for DT AND cafe orders. Our SSV went to grab lids in the back, while me and the other barista were killing ourselves taking orders, helping the green beans, and getting orders out for DT and Mobiles. Cafe had no customers so that was a relief. SSV throws up so we have to call our SM in who was out on a birthday dinner with her family, literally all but two people called off for night shift (not to mention the two who didn’t call out are also new..). I offered to stay until close even though that would mean working 830am to 11pm. Probably not allowed but oh well (I didn’t stay and left at my scheduled 3pm. SM reassured me it was okay)

I feel like they’ll probably close early bc my SM is the only one working tonight who knows how to close, and with a staff of two green beans who are still in training for basically everything, it’s going to be a shit show. Especially since we get really busy after sundown due to Ramadan which means a LOT of frappuccinos.
